Pitada Terms of Use

Last updated: August 28, 2026

1. The agreement

By using Pitada, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, just don't use the app.

Pitada is operated by [COMPANY NAME / YOUR NAME], [CNPJ/CPF]. Contact: support@pitada.app.

2. What Pitada does

Pitada helps you save recipes (from videos, photos, and websites), organize them into Cookbooks, build your Meal Plan, and generate your Grocery List.

To read the content you send us, we use artificial intelligence.

3. Your account

  • You can use the app without an account. An account is only needed to save

recipes from the internet.

  • You're responsible for keeping your access secure.
  • You can delete your account at any time inside the app:

Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for anything illegal;
  • Try to get around the free plan limits (for example, by creating multiple accounts);
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our servers;
  • Save content whose use violates the rights of others.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Pitada+ (subscription): please read carefully

Pitada+ is an auto-renewing subscription.

  • Plans and prices: prices are shown on the purchase screen, inside the app,

in your currency, before you confirm.

  • Free trial: when offered, the trial period is shown on the purchase

screen. When the trial ends, the subscription automatically becomes paid, unless you cancel before then.

  • Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and the

charge is made to your Apple account up to 24 hours before the current billing cycle ends.

  • How to cancel: at any time, in

iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (or through the shortcut Profile → Subscription → Manage inside the app). Canceling stops the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

  • Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests

follow Apple's policy (reportaproblem.apple.com). We can't issue refunds directly.

  • Restore purchases: available in Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases.

The free plan lets you save 5 recipes per month. Pitada+ removes that limit. We may adjust prices and what each plan includes, giving you reasonable advance notice. Changes never affect a period you've already paid for.

6. Content you create

Your recipes, cookbooks, and lists are yours. You grant us only the technical license needed to store and display that content for you inside the app. We do not use your content to train AI models, nor do we publish it without your explicit action.

7. Third-party content and AI: honest limits

  • When you save a link, Pitada accesses public content at that

address to extract the recipe. You are responsible for having the right to use that content. We respect creators: we store and display the original link and the creator's @ whenever available.

  • Extraction is done by AI, and it can make mistakes (an amount, a step, a cooking time).

Always double-check the recipe before cooking. Pitada is an organization tool, not nutritional, medical, or food-safety advice.

  • Allergies and dietary restrictions are entirely your responsibility.

We do not guarantee that the extracted ingredient list is complete or correct.

8. Availability

We do our best to keep the app up and running, but it is provided "as is". There may be instability, maintenance, or changes to features.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Brazilian law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, data loss resulting from misuse).

Nothing here removes your consumer rights under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor).

10. Termination

You can stop using the app whenever you want. We may close accounts that violate these Terms, giving notice when possible.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer's place of residence are the chosen venue for resolving disputes.

12. Changes

If we change anything relevant, we'll let you know inside the app before it takes effect.
